Grade Turnaround Plan
A 30-day rescue program for a class you're failing or barely passing.
Overview
The Turnaround Plan exists for one situation: a single class has gotten away from you and the exam is close. Instead of restudying everything, it finds the small set of topics that are both weak and heavily tested, and rebuilds them first.
You start with a diagnostic quiz drawn from your own syllabus. StudyMap scores every topic, ranks them by weakness multiplied by exam weight, and lays the recovery work across the days you actually have left.
Each day you get two short retrieval sessions instead of one long re-reading session, plus a weekly checkpoint that shows whether your predicted grade is moving.
- Diagnostic quiz that finds your real weak topics
- Day-by-day catch-up calendar built around your exam date
- Daily 25-minute recovery sessions with retrieval practice
- Weekly progress check with a predicted grade
What you walk away with
A ranked weak-topic list
You stop guessing what to study. Every topic gets a mastery score and a position in the queue.
A dated catch-up calendar
Every remaining day before the exam has specific topics assigned, sized to fit around your other classes.
A moving predicted grade
Weekly quizzes recalculate your predicted score so you can see progress instead of hoping for it.
Exam-ready fundamentals
By day 30 the topics that were dragging your average down have been recalled correctly at least three times each.
How to get started
- 1
Add the subject and exam date
Open the dashboard, create the subject, and enter the date of the exam you're recovering for.
- 2
Upload the syllabus or contents page
StudyMap splits it into 20–50 checkable topics so the plan has something concrete to schedule.
- 3
Take the 15-minute diagnostic
Answer honestly — a flattering score produces a useless plan.
- 4
Accept your day-one calendar
Confirm your available study windows and turn on reminders so sessions actually happen.
