Privacy Notice

The data controller for StudyMap is Suat Sarısoy. You can reach us with any privacy question at sarisoy602@gmail.com.

• Account data: your name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), and grade level.
• Study data: the subjects, exams, tasks, and study plans you create, and your progress in them.
• Content you upload: messages you send to the AI tutor and any photos or documents you attach to them.
• Payment data: purchases and their status. Card numbers are collected and processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record — they never reach our servers.
• Usage data: basic technical information such as browser type and pages visited, used to keep the Service working.

We use your data to provide the Service (accounts, study plans, AI tutoring), to process purchases through Paddle, to send you reminders and service updates you have opted into, and to keep the Service secure. We do not sell your personal data.

We share data only with the providers needed to run the Service:

• Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd, with its registered office at Judd House, 18-29 Corporation Street, Belfast, BT1 3AQ, United Kingdom) — our Merchant of Record, which processes payments, invoices, taxes, and refunds on our behalf and receives your email and purchase details for this purpose.
• Our hosting and database provider — stores your account and study data securely.
• Our AI provider — processes tutor messages (and attached photos) to generate answers on our behalf.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account or ask us to erase your data, we remove it within 30 days, except where we must keep records for legal reasons (for example, purchase records kept by Paddle for tax and accounting purposes).

You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal data at any time. Email us at sarisoy602@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU/EEA or the UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

The Service is designed for students, including minors. If you are under the age of digital consent in your country (typically 13–16), please ask a parent or guardian to review and approve your use of the Service and to contact us with any privacy request on your behalf.

We use only the cookies and local storage strictly needed to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not run advertising trackers.

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. The "last updated" date above will change, and the current version is always available on this page.
